About Me

As an ecologist, I am interested in how species are responding to climate change and other disturbances, particularly in mountain systems, and how we can best use science to inform management and conservation actions across taxa. In short, I investigate the underlying mechanisms and drivers of species’ responses to broader environmental change. For example, one of the major questions I focus on is how do the various biotic and abiotic factors that shape species’ range limits vary over space and time?
